dc.description.abstractsodium cream from hydrophilic base in-vitro has been carried out. The research used variation concentrations of propylene glycol. The stability test included organoleptic consistency, pH, homogenity, viscosity, spreadability, and diffusion test. Drug diffusion rate testing was held for 8 hours using paddle over disk method at 37 o C ±0,5 o C. The drug diffusion rate across mouse skin membrane ranged between 0,0978 mg/cm 2 /hour to 0,1118 mg/cm vii 2 /hour. The result showed that propylene glycol cannot increase the diffusion rate of diclofenac sodium cream from hydrophilic base. Keywords : Cream, Propylene glycol, Diffusion rate, Diclofenac Sodiumen_US
