dc.description.abstract | The performance of the employees is one of the key for the success or the
failure of a company. Each employee has their own reason which can support their
selves to do certain job or activities in that company. It is he reason why any
employees try harder then the other. The increase of employees’ performance can be
influence by some factors, such as leadership style, the practise of work and
motivation.
This research concern about the influence of leadership style, the practice of
work and motivation and has done in PT. Bank Jatim Jember branch. It has a purpose
to test and to analyze whether there is significant influence between leadership style,
the practice of work and motivation as independent variable of the employees’
performance. This field of this research is all of the employees of PT. Bank Jatim
Jember branch by using primary data. The data is collected directly by using
questioner and the technique of choosing the sample is random sampling.

This research has four variables ; they are the performance of the employees as
dependent variable and leadership style, the practice of work and motivation as
independent variable. The method of data analysis that is used in this research is
classic assumption test, while the hypothesis is tested by multiple linear regression
test and partial regression test (T test).
Based on the result of the test that has ben done, it showed that partially the
variable of leadership style, the practice of work and motivation has significant
influence toward the performance of the employees.
