Perbedaan Kesejahteraan Spiritualitas pada Pasien Penyintas Stroke di RSU dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso Berdasarkan Gender
Abstract
Introduction : Stroke is one of the chronic diseases that will have physical and mental impacts. The existence of spiritual well-being in patients can help create spiritual health so that it has an impact on a positive understanding of physical and emotional well-being. Individuals will experience spiritual growth as they enter adulthood which can be influenced by gender, religion, economic status, past experiences, and cultural background. Aim: The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in spiritual well-being in stroke survivor patients at Dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso Hospital based on gender. Methods : The design of this study used quantitative observational analytic research. The sampling technique was consecutive sampling with a sample size of 141 obtained through the calculation of the Gpower application and added by 10%. The samples obtained from a total of 141 samples were 71 male respondents and 70 female respondents. Spiritual well-being was measured using The Spiritual Well-Being Scale (SWBS) which has been proven valid and reliable based on previous research. The results of this study showed that the majority of respondents had high spiritual well-being, 50 male respondents (70.4%) and 57 female respondents (80.3%). Result : The results of statistical analysis using the Independent Sample T-Test showed that there were differences in spiritual well-being in stroke survivor patients at Dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso Hospital based on gender (sig. value <0.05, namely 0.019 <0.05). Conclusion : The conclusion obtained from this study is that there are differences in spiritual well-being in stroke survivors patiens at dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso Hospital
