Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) Teorema Pythagoras Fase D
Abstract
The research conducted aims to create teaching tools that can be declared valid, practical, and effective, especially on the subject of the Pythagorean theorem. The development of this learning tools was carried out with the aim of improving students' higher order thinking skills. This research is a type of research and development with Thiagarajan's 4-D development model. Thiagarajan's 4-D stages include define, design, develope, and disseminate. The data collected by observation, test, and questionnaire techniques. The results of the Higher Order Thinking Skills-based development research with the Problem Based Learning model are classified into valid, practical, and effective. The level of validity can be seen from the validity value of each teaching module of 3.80, LKPD of 3.80, and a test of 8.93 (out of 3) which is included in the valid category. The practicality value is obtained from the observation of the implementation of learning devices and student activity observations of 93.4% and 93.75%, respectively. The effectiveness value is seen from the learning outcome data obtained 89.0% classically complete with the category of very good and good high-level thinking and the student response questionnaire has a positive value of 91.21%. Suggestions for teachers are expected to use learning tools more often because they can train students' higher order thinking skills and be used as guidelines for a more varied and innovative learning process. Not only that, other researchers can reach a wider range of research subjects and different materials in the development of further teaching tools.
