Abstract
Activities in a company involve many management components that are engaged and focused on their respective goals, one of which is HR management. The HR management itself involves many elements ranging from employees, finance, materials, planning, and staffing. HR that functions within the company. Likewise, leadership is an important element in aligning and directing various HR management activities in the company. Leadership in the company reflects the assumption that leadership is related to the deliberate process of a person to emphasize his strong influence on others by guiding, structuring, and facilitating activities within the company. In its application, leadership has a relationship with HR management within the company that relates to company employees directly or indirectly.
During this pandemic period, each company is improving their leadership and HR management to be able to survive and continue to operate dynamically in a pandemic situation, one of which is PT 3M Indonesia. In its corporate activities, PT 3M Indonesia as a multinational company can apply corporate values that are able to be implemented and understood by its employees so as to maintain the values of PT 3M Indonesia's organizational culture in the current situation. Organizational culture has an important role in HR management of a company, with the application and understanding of values that employees can implement will benefit the company's management to achieve efficiency in employee performance within the company.
To achieve employee performance that is in line with the company's expectations, company management must be able to implement the company's cultural values for its employees along with the leadership that is carried out in the company's staffing. With these two things that are interrelated, there will be job satisfaction felt by employees, this job satisfaction will be one of the factors to achieve good performance. Job satisfaction is a positive feeling towards a job resulting from an evaluation of its characteristics. With these three variables that mutually influence the performance of employees in the company, PT 3M Indonesia as the object of research will conduct research to determine the influence of leadership and organizational culture on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable.
