dc.description.abstractThis study has designed and optimized a chain transmission system for the energy efficient TITEN Urban EV2 vehicle. Through careful planning, a suitable chain type was selected for the vehicle to achieve optimal efficiency. The system utilizes a Hub Drive type BLDC motor with a chain as the power transfer system. Through testing and performance comparison of the BLDC motor chain transmission used in the TITEN Urban EV2 vehicle, it was found that this transmission system can provide efficient electrical consumption. The testing was conducted in accordance with the KMHE and Shell Eco-Marathon regulations, with the best results reaching 112,2 km/kWh for the vehicle with chain transmission and 112,1 km/kWh for the vehicle with in-wheel drive system.en_US
