Penerapan Analytical Hierarchy Process Dalam Penentuan Rekomendasi Printer
Abstract
As time goes by, the need for printers is increasing, creating promising business opportunities in the printer trade. PT. Plaza Bitcom is one of the companies providing business in the printer trade, strives to provide good service by recommending brands to consumers. Determining brand recommendations can be solved using the analytical hierarchy process method. The analytical hierarchy process is a multi-criteria decision-making method that determines the ranking of decision alternatives. This research aims to analyze the prioritized ranking results in determining brand recommendations for printers at PT. Plaza Bitcom. The determination of printer brand recommendations is based on six criteria: waterproof, warranty, no reset, multifunctionality, wireless, and price. There are four alternatives used in this study: Epson L3210, HP 315, Canon 2770, and Brother T220. The steps in this method are problem definition, decision hierarchy structuring, pairwise comparison assessment, pairwise comparison matrix construction, pairwise comparison matrix normalization, criteria and alternative weight calculation, criteria and alternative consistency calculation, and ranking determination of results. The research results indicate that HP 315 occupies the highest rank in the ranking with a weight value of 0.5836. This suggests that HP 315 is the most recommended printer brand. The next ranking order from highest to lowest is Epson L3210, Brother T220, and Canon 2770 with respective priority weight values of 0.1759, 0.1578, and 0.0826.
