dc.description.abstractABSTRACT Online shopping has become commonplace among people. The marketplace phenomenon is growing very rapidly in Indonesia. The developing marketplaces are very diverse, and each marketplace has its own advantages. This will take up consumers' time in choosing the best marketplace. When searching for a suitable product or service, consumers should consider several criteria, such as discount vouchers, variety of payment methods, promotions, and popularity. This research uses the fuzzy ELECTRE method to determine the best marketplace. The aim of this research is to make it easier for consumers to choose a marketplace to carry out online buying and selling transactions. This research uses primary data, namely data from questionnaires distributed to Jember University Students. The problem that will be solved is choosing a marketplace. The alternatives used are Shopee, Tokopedia, and Lazada. The criteria used are promotions, discount vouchers, various payment methods, and popularity. In this research, the results of the criteria that are considered the most important in choosing a marketplace are obtained, namely discount vouchers with a weight of 0.82, payment method variation criteria with a weight of 0.79, promotion criteria with a weight of 0.67, and popularity criteria with a weight of 0.64. There is one best alternative obtained from the results of the fuzzy ELECTRE calculation, with a total of 2 e_ql=1, one alternative that is eliminated, and one alternative that becomes another preference in carrying out buying and selling transactions.en_US
