Strategi Permukiman Kumuh Menjadi Permukiman Terpadu Pada Kampung Rawabadung, Jakarta Timur
Abstract
Kampung Rawabadung is one of the residential areas designated as a priority
region for improving settlement quality, as established in the East Jakarta
Mayor’s Decree of 2019. This research focuses on identifying the environmental
quality within the residential area, allowing researchers to understand the factors
influencing the environmental quality of the Rawabadung settlement.
Consequently, it becomes possible to determine the appropriate strategies for
transforming the residential area for the better. This study employs two methods:
confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), which is a qualitative method for discovering
the research question that will be measured with quantitative methods and
triangulation analysis. The research findings reveal that one of the factors
contributing to the slum conditions in Kampung Rawabadung is the quality of the
physical conditions and the suboptimal access to public services. From these
factors, a strategy is developed for infrastructure enhancement with a green
building concept, implementing the nearly zero-energy building (NZEB) approach
as a solution to the scarcity of conventional energy, as well as the development of
infrastructure facilities and the optimization of the transportation network plan
and online-based transportation mode shelter facilities.
