    Abstract
    The film "Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens" is a work by director Lucky Kuswandi with a screenplay written by Gina S. Noer. The film "Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens" was released globally on Netflix on June 17, 2021. The film "Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens" was produced by Palari Films and has a duration of 100 minutes. The film "Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens" successfully created a compelling depiction that captured the audience's interest by exploring the theme of family conflict. The allure of the film "Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens" lies in its use of color, which serves as both an aspect of beauty and a visual tool that aids in conveying the story. The color selection is also employed to reinforce the appropriate atmosphere and mood corresponding to the characters' emotions, such as joy, tranquility, warmth, peace, and disharmony. This research is based on Albert Munsell's color theory, supported by David Krech's theory of emotions. The researcher analyze the use of color in depicting the emotional aspects of the story in the film "Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens." The research method employed is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used in this study consist of primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques involve observation (watching the film "Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens"), documentation, literature review, and data reduction. The analysis utilized in this research involves data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. Based on the research results, there are 15 scenes comprising four scenes of sadness, six scenes of happiness, one scene of fear, two scenes of anger, and two scenes of love. The researcher utilizes scenes of sadness, such as Mia leaving her family to go to New York, represented by blue, and Ali crying while hugging Eva, represented by the color black. Scenes of happiness are represented by Party working as a cleaning lady, depicted with yellow, and the gathering of Ali's extended family, represented by the color white. The scene depicting fear involves Ali tidying up her belongings in her room, represented by the color grey. Scenes of anger show Ali getting angry at Mia in the alley, represented by the color red. Finally, scenes of love portray Ali and Eva being affectionate in a bar, represented by pink.
