Peran Dramatis Pada Adegan Tokoh Elise De Montargis dalam Serial La Revolution (2020) Chapter 8 : The Rebellion Dengan Pendekatan Feminisme Eksistensialis

Abstract

This study uses a feminist view as a research subject. The object of his research is the role of the character Elise de Montargis taken from the film La Revolution. The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the dramatic role of the character Elise De Montargis in La Revolution (2020) Chapter 8 : The Rebellion using an existentialist feminist approach. This study uses the theory of existentialist feminism put forward by Simone de Beauvoir which is used as the main theory for dissecting and analyzing research data. Based on the research results obtained, there are several scenes that build dramatic elements of characterization using the existentialist feminist approach by Elise de Montargis. The dramatic element is divided into four parts, namely conflict, tension, curiosity, and surprise. Through the use of dramatic elements, this series succeeds in portraying existentialist feminist women in a broader context, questioning the role and position of women in society and challenging the existing patriarchal structure.
