dc.description.abstractIndonesia has a very high population or workforce. Population growth will greatly affect the labor force. Population growth will greatly affect the labor force. The greater the number of people of working age, the automatically the number of labor force will increase. This study aims to determine the effect of the Human Development Index, UMK, and PDRB on Labor Absorption in the Bakorwil V Jember Region. This type of research uses secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analytical tool that will be used in this research is Multiple Linear Analysis. The results show that the human development index has no effect on employment, on the contrary, the City/Regency minimum wage has an effect on employment and PDRB also affects employment. Furthermore, the regression results show that the three independent variables, namely IPM, UMK, and PDRB have a significant effect on Labor Absorption.en_US
