    Abstract
The phenomenon of short toddlers or what can be called stunting is a condition where toddlers have short body proportions exceeding a 2 Standard Deviation (SD) deficit below the median length of toddlers their age. The factor that directly affects stunting is food intake. Inadequate food intake can be seen in the consumption of food diversity because it will determine the nutrition obtained by toddlers, both macronutrients and micronutrients. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of fulfillment minimum dietary diversity with the incidence of stunting in toddlers. This study used an analytic observational design with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used the probability sampling method in cluster random sampling with a total sample of 86 mothers who have toddlers aged 6-23 months. The instruments in this study used minimum dietary diversity and anthropometry. The results showed that the chi-square test obtained a p-value of 0.001 (<0.05) which there is a correlation between fulfillment minimum dietary diversity and the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the work area of the Sumberjambe Public Health Center, Jember Regency. The healthcare providers could improve health promotion related to stunting prevention through fulfilling minimum dietary diversity and carry out routine growth screening as early detection of stunting.
