    Abstract
Satisfaction with the fulfillment of basic human needs is a condition that is felt when the basic needs in life can be met. According to Abraham Maslow's theory, basic human needs consist of five levels, that is physiological needs, security needs, belonging and love needs, esteem needs, and self-actualization needs. This study aims to analyze satisfaction with the fulfillment of basic human needs in salt farmers in Pinggir Papas Village, Kalianget District, Sumenep Regency. This research is a quantitative study using a descriptive research design and the sample in this study was 75 salt farmers who were obtained through the total sampling method. The data was collected using the need satisfaction inventory questionnaire to analyze the satisfaction of salt farmers in fulfilling basic human needs. The results of data analysis showed that satisfaction with the fulfillment of basic human needs in salt farmers obtained an average score of 194.51 close to the maximum value, which means that salt farmers achieved satisfaction in fulfilling their basic needs. At each level, the needs are also close to the maximum value that is physiological needs obtaining an average score of 36.79, security needs obtaining an average score of 38.56, belongingness and love needs obtaining an average score of 39.85, self-esteem needs obtaining an average score is 39.75, and self-actualization needs obtaining an average score of 39.56 which means that salt farmers achieve satisfaction in meeting basic needs on each indicator. Therefore, nurses as educators can provide information related to the fulfillment of basic human needs which consist of five levels so that it is hoped that basic human needs can be met at each level, not only focusing on one level of basic needs.
