Code switching is the phenomenon when someone in bilingual or multilingual community speaks in one language and then switches into the other language in the same utterance. In code switching phenomenon, each language has different grammatical structure when it is used. The speaker will choose the appropriate language to communicate to fit the situation then switch the language to another. On the other hand, code mixing is the insertion of lexical items from one language into a sentence in other language which does not deal with the grammatical rules. The inserted items are mostly in the form of function words, articles, prepositions, conjunctions, and adverbsen_US
