dc.description.abstractDaily activities are activities done to meet the daily needs of elderly. Daily activities of elderly people may be one of the factors contributing to the occurrence of asthma attacks in the elderly. Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease that occurs in the respiratory tract. This research aimed to analyze the correlation between daily activities and degree of asthma attacks on elderly in district of wuluhan, jember regency. This research used observational with analytical survey design by cross sectional approach. The research samples were taken by purposive sampling with a sample size of 26 samples and used Chi- Square test for data analysis. The research results showed that mostly elderly had depend daily activities 57.7%, and most of the elderly experienced degrees of persistent asthma attacks 53.8%. The results of data analysis showed there was correlation between daily activities and degree of asthma attacks in the elderly in District of Wuluhan, Jember Regency in 2014 (p value 0.006 < α 0.05). Community health nursing center is given health education to elderly and family about necessary daily activities and degree of asthma attacks and monitoring evaluation about program in community.en_US
