dc.description.abstractThe quality of surface roughness from a component can be softened, one of the them is by using grinding process. It is a machining process that is done by a chisel, a grinding stone of which shape is disk. In the surface grinding process, a deviation can’t be prevented. Cutting parameter is one of reasons which causes deviation in grinding process that will effect on count of vibration head of grinding machine and surface roughness of work piece. Regression analyze is used to know the effect of cutting parameter on head of grinding machine’s head and roughness of work piece. The parameter is depth of feed (a). From research, we know that it effects 80,5 % to head’s vibration and 97,6 % to surface roughness of work piece. It is caused by cutting resultant and feeding resultant that happens when grinding stone cut work piece so that head’s vibration and surface roughness of work piece happenen_US
