dc.description.abstractSemi Automatic Potentiometric Titrator had been designed to make easy titration process that still done manually and to decrease deliquency by human error. It has been tested on strong acid (HCl) with strong base (NaOH) titration and weak acid (CH COOH) with strong base (NaOH) titration. It uses peristaltic pump to transmit titrant, pH/mV meter with pH electrode to detect the potential value where output connected with input ADC 0804 and then output from ADC will enter the computer that been programmed with Pascal language via PPI 8255 interface. Examination of the titration process were performed by variation of HCl concentration (10 -3 3 , 10 -2 , 10 -1 ) and CH viii 3 COOH (10 -3 , 10 -2 , 10 -1 ) as titrate and NaOH 10 -1 as titrant. The end point of semi automatic titrator compared by conventional titration in the same condition. The result of the examination showed that semi automatic titrator have some advanteges, such as; it can read potential value per second, the solution for titrant was fewer, faster, and the operator can do the other works. Based on the result of the t-test of titration, it can be explained that semi automatic potentiometric titrator compatible significantly with conventional titration so it can used as an alternative for titration process.
