dc.description.abstractCoffee is one of prominent plantation commodity that has significant contribution to Indonesia economic. The coffee wide area in Indonesia in 2005 are 1.313.060 ha with total production about 721.860 ton, while most of them 95,64 percent is farmer plantation and 4,36 percents company plantation. It’s describes that farmer has dominant role in national economic. This research conducted in Tirtoyudo Sub District Malang Regency. The methods of this research were descriptive and correlation. Data of this research used primary and secondary data. The result of this research shows: (1) number of farmer who had risk lover are 4 percents, risk neutral 52 percents and risk aversion are 44 percents (2) the average of productivity are 1.137,60 kg dry coffee/ha/year (3) factors of production, size of area, fertilizer, labor, age of plant, risk lover and risk aversion of farmer have significantly influence to coffee production. Meanwhile, trees amount have un significantly influence to coffee production, and (4) factors of social economic such as, production, selling price, input cost, other cost, experience significantly influence to farmers’ income. Meanwhile, age of farmer and number of family member have un significantly influence to farmers’ income.en_US
