dc.description.abstractThis study aims to see the effect of the application of principles of good governance on the performance of local governments on local government district of Jember. This study used primary data obtained directly from distributing questionnaires. The questionnaire was created as a means of obtaining data from the variables: transparency, accountability, responsiveness, independence, fairness / justice. Sampling method used purposive sampling Through multiple linear regression analysis found that transparency, accountability and independence negatively affect the performance of local government, While the results of the variable responsiveness and fairness has positive impact on local government performance.
