dc.description.abstractSome big earthquakes have generated soul victim and loss of very big material in Indonesian. To realize building construction which resist to the earthquake it is needed some research of beam or column improvement, so that have good performance when the earthquake happens. This research aim to test a concept improve strength of building structure through transformation of detailing of ties compiling reinforced concrete structure component as according to possible encumbering pattern happened effect of earthquake.Variabel independent in this research is: model variation of ties and quality of concrete, while variable dependent him : pattern of crack test object, beam deflektion, and maximum concentrated load. In this research, it is used reinforced concrete beam model with ties of rectangular ( model I) combined with ties in form of circle ( model II), crosslegged ( model of III), and parallelogram ( model IV), with longitude bone 10 mm, bone of transversal 3,9 mm, dimension 15 x 15 cm, with distance between 45 cm. Totalobject test are 12. Of this research is known that mean of deflektion that happened at model of I is 0,322 mm, at model II equal to 0,395 mm, at model III equal to 0,393 mm, and model IV equal to 0,405 mm. maximum concentrated load employing at test object model I is equal to 15 ton, Model II equal to 16,2 ton, Model III equal to 16 ton, and at model IV equal to 14,9 ton. Thereby detailing pattern of fastener the second model ties which consist of pattern aliance of rectangular and circle are capable to give better performance in earthquake that happened at one particular column or log.en_US
