dc.description.abstractThe challenges of physics learning often complained, many formulas memorized and using textbook, so many student lack of interest to learning. The purpose of the research is to examine the profile of student’s science literacy skill, examine the effectiveness of using digital flipbook, and describe student responses to the implementation of the CTL model with digital flipbook of Banjarkemuning dance. This research method is experimental research using pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Gedangan class XI with a population of 31 students. The research instruments used science literacy pretest, posttest, and student response questionnaire. The results of the profile student’s science literacy skills are high category. The profile of science literacy skills is high category because the digital flipbook of Banjarkemuning dance help students learn contextually and can understand concepts in real life. The results of the effectiveness of digital flipbook average N-gain 0.56 which shows moderate criteria and is quite effective. The moderate category shows that digital flipbook are quite effective and can improve student learning outcomes. But, not maximal because digital flipbook has just been applied for the first time in the school. Overall, the average percentage of student responses shows 83%. This percentage value can state that the digital flipbook of Banjarkemuning dance can be accepted by students very positively. The criteria are very positive because digital flipbook can be repeated independently anywhere and anytime. The digital flipbook of Banjarkemuning dance is a solution as a learning resource, helps in repeating material, and makes it easier to learn science literacy.en_US
