Efektivitas Program Pelatihan Kerja Terhadap Penanggulangan Pengangguran Akibat Covid-19 di Balai Latihan Kerja Kabupaten Sidoarjo (Study Garment Apparel)
Abstract
Unemployment is an economic problem that can affect humans directly
and is a significant problem in a country due to an imbalance in the labor market.
Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic which had such a big impact on society.
Unemployment can affect individual life caused by a lack of skills in someone. So
there is a need for an increase in human capital. Increasing human capital can be
done with training aimed at increasing human skills. This research aims to find
out the effectiveness of job training programs for overcoming unemployment due
to Covid-19 at the Sidoarjo District Vocational Training Center for garment
apparel. This research is qualitative descriptive and the data used in this research
are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis used in this research is data
reduction, data display and conclusion drain. The results of this study were that
some of the participants who took part in the training program felt a positive
impact on changing the skills of each participant. So that the training is effective
in reducing the unemployment rate in Sidoarjo Regency. Relevant to the theory of
human capital where the theory is an investment in human capital through a
process of learning and training.
