dc.description.abstract3D printing is called additive manufacturing. The printing process uses the Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) method, which is the process of forming a gradual part of the layers according to a predetermined printing orientation until the object is in the desired shape. This study was conducted to determine the tensile test values on the two materials, namely ABS and PLA, whether there is a difference in mechanical properties when the two materials are combined. The research used used quantitative research by analyzing the tensile test results from specimens which were divided into 27 tensile test specimens. Derived from 2 types of variations, the first variation is the composition of 90% PLA + 10% ABS, 80% PLA + 20% ABS and 70% PLA + 30% ABS. The second variation is Infill which is 100%, 80%, and 60% with 3 repeats. The tensile test results showed a composition value of 20% ABS + 80% PLA with 100% infill obtained a modulus value of elasticity better than 100% ABS which is 794.95 N/m² while 100% ABS with a value of 781.03 N/m. In contrast to the tensile strength results, the variation of 80% PLA and 20% ABS has the lowest difference close to 100% ABS compared to other variations. The resulting value of these variations does not exceed the value of 100% PLA. So that this combination can be used as an alternative to replace ABS material. Where PLA materials of natural origin are considered more friendly to the environment and easy to recycle.en_US
