This study aims to develop an ethnoscience-based module on the topic of heat and temperature to enhance computational thinking skills among junior high school students. The research employed the ADDIE development model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validity of the module was assessed by subject matter and media experts, while its practicality and effectiveness were measured through observations and student learning outcomes. The validation results indicated that the module received a score of 88.55%, categorized as very valid. The practicality of the module was reflected in the average observation rating over four sessions, which reached 95.75%, and was also classified as very practical. The effectiveness of the module was tested using pretest and posttest methods, resulting in an N-gain score of 0.37, categorized as moderate. The module successfully improved students' computational thinking skills, particularly in the aspects of decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithms. Through the integration of local cultural values, this module is expected to enhance students' understanding of heat and temperature concepts while also making learning more relevant to their daily livesen_US
