dc.description.abstractThe transformational event existences in adaptation of Sleeping Beauty in the Wood fairy tale by Charles Perrault into two films Sleeping Beauty and Maleficent by Disney show the differences. The type of mode of engagement for this kind of adaptation is telling to showing. Telling to showing media refers to the reason because this changes from the printed literary work into visual work. During the process of transformation, the changes occur because the adapters has motive behind the adaptation. The motive that is used by the adapters must be found using the data that relate with the topic and appropriate theory.en_US
