Abstract: Tinea pedis is a disease caused by a dermatophyte fungal infection, which often infects the skin's upper layers or the superficial epidermis, the nails and major hairs of the feet, often caused by Trychophyton rubrum. This research aims to analysis the correlation between the usage Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and incidence of Tinea pedis on the farmer of fruit and vegetable’s in the working area of Public Health Centre of Bangli Utara, Bangli, Bali. This research was used quantitative study with descriptive and correlative design and cross sectional method. Total sampling was used by retrieval technique. The sample of research is 52 respondents. The samples of this research are fruit and vegetable farmers who live in the working area of UPT Puskesmas Bangli Utara, Bangli, Bali. The statistical test uses chi square with a significant level of 0.05. The incidence of Tinea pedis on respondents who did not use Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as much as 30 (57,69%) respondents. The incidence of Tinea pedis on respondents who used Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) were 4 (7,69%) respondent. The result of chi square test with p value = 0,001(p<0,005). There was a significant correlation between the use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and incidence of Tinea pedis on the farmer of fruit and vegetable’s.
