HUBUNGAN PELAKSANAAN PERAN KELUARGA DENGAN TINGKAT KEBERHASILAN PROGRAM DIET PADA KLIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS KALIWATES KABUPATEN JEMBER

Abstract

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is the degenerative disease that has increased every year, especially at age the end and the elderly. Lifestyle becomes one of the causes of type 2 DM in addition to family health history or hereditary factors.controlling lifstyle can be by planning a meal or diet with select and consume foods that are appropriate and not excessive. This research aims to know of the relationship of the role family with a success rate of diet programs on the client of type 2 DM in the work area Kaliwates public health center, Jember regency. The research design was descriptive analytic study with cross sectional. The research results showed that p value of Spearman Rank test was 0,891 (p > α ; α= 0,05). The conlusion of the research is whre was an there is no realtionship of the role family with a succes rate of dier programs on the client of diabetes mellitus type 2 in the work area Kaliwates public health center, Jember regency. It is suggestes thta nurses can involve families by forming support gorup of family with client type 2 DM and involve the family in the treatment of type 2 DM.
