Family Health Care Function in Enhancing The Quality of Life in the Elderly of Public Health District Jelbuk Jember

Abstract

Family health care functions to describe the ability of elderly families in achieving develop­ mental tasks elderly families on stages. Families with elderly should be able to maintain a pleasant home atmosphere, facilitating adaptation to changes in loss of a spouse, friend, physical strength and revenue, maintain conjugal intimacy and mutual care for, and maintain social relationships with children and elderly people that is able to perform life review. Elderly in the family with the functioning of the health care will be able to improve the quality oflife for elderly health related dimensions of physical, psychological, level of activity, social relationships, environment and spirituality elderly in the family. This study aims to analyze the implementation of family health care functions with quality oflife of the elderly in the family.
