The correlation was negative which means the higher the level of religiosity the lower the level of diabetes distress. Religiosity is the driving factor of healthy coping in dealing with psychological problems such as diabetes distress. This study suggests the importance of assessing religiosity to minimize distress in type 2 diabetes patients.
