Gambaran Quality of Life Mahasiswa Baru Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Jember Angkatan 2016

Abstract

Background: Quality of life was an individual perception of life condition in the term of cultural system and value in certain place of living which relates to a purpose, an expectation and an attention. The oral health was associated with quality of life because oral health could affect the health of an individual in a whole. Purpose: to identify the view of quality of life of Jember University Dentistry Faculty freshmen period 2016/2017. Methods: this study used Cross Sectional Design with 119 respondents. The quality of life was assessed by employing Oral Health Impact Profile-14 (OHIP-14) questionnaire. Result: the whole research showed the quality of life of Jember Dentistry Faculty period 2016/2017 as much as 9, 63%. Conclusion: The quality of life in good category was about 92, 4%, in fair category was about 7,6 % and in bad category was 0%.
