Alveolar ridge resorption is a biological phenomenon that occurs after a tooth extraction. Alveolar ridge is very important to the successful installation of the denture. To prevent alveolar ridge resorption more severe need of preservation of tooth extraction sockets with augmentation wearing alloplast graft material that is biocompatible with the network, good mechanical properties, porosity, osteoconductive, biodegradability and bioactivity for bone regeneration. Objective: to present a review of the literature about the kinds of materials used for the graft alloplast potential augmentation akveolar ridge resorption. Conclusion: The study showed augmentation resorption of alveolar ridge can be used graft material alloplast including calcium phosphates (CaP) (for example Hydroxyapatite - HA), Biphasic calcium phosphate (BCP), tricalcium phosphate (TCP), calcium sulfate (plaster of paris) and Composite Polymers with regard to the nature of the materials, profit losses and indications contraindications. It concluded that as a potential alloplast graft resorption alveolar ridge augmentation material.en_US
