Penilaian Ekonomi Manfaat Lingkungan Alun–Alun Kota Sebagai Kawasan Wisata Publik Di Kabupaten Jember

Abstract

The purpose of the research was for knowing how the characteristics of users Jember town square and the assessment of users about Jember town square facilities and counting the economic valuation or consumer surplus Jember town square by using travel cost method. The number of samples that is used in this research were 107 respondents. The sampling technique that is used was the purposive sampling technique. Based on the research that had been done, most of Jember town square users wanted some additional facilities, such as chairs, public toilets, and also increasing the cleanliness and peacefulness of Jember town square environment. Then, based on the research by using travel cost method, the economic valuation or consumer surplus that is acquired was Rp 52.786.506.000,- per year.
