Perkembangan koperasi sebagai organisasi ekonomi yang bertindak sosial dan berasaskan kekeluargaan serta kegotongroyongan diharapkan ikut berperan dalam menunjang cita-cita kehidupan perekonomian Indonesia di masa mendatang.
