Abstract: At the time of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra administration, Thailand experienced a political crisis that originated from the opposition refusal to the bill on amnesty. The formulation of Amnesty Bill did not solve the problem, even it led to a new problem. The problem arose from the opposition party that desired to overthrow Prime Minister Yingluck. The opposition had lost trust in Yingluck because the policy of the bill was considered to protect the previous PM Thaksin S. To resolve the political crisis, Prime Minister Yingluck provided a solution to hold election on February 2, 2014. When the results showed that Prime Minister Yingluck won back, then the opposition brought a lawsuit to Court to reject the election results by reasons that the eleftion was not conducted simultaneously, then on March 21, the Constitutional Court decided to cancel the results of February 2 election by unconstitutional grounds. By the cancellation of the results of February 2, 2014 election a wave of demonstrations in Thailand was getting bigger and bigger. Opposition demanded PM Yingluck to immediately step down because it was found that there were many acts of corruption and nepotism to save her sister from the law who were also involved in the earlier cases of corruption
