dc.description.abstractThis research was intended to determine the effect of discipline on performance of employees at Health Department Office of Jember Regency. Enforcing discipline is important for a company because it is expected that most of the rules are obeyed by most of the employees by having discipline. Thus, by such discipline, it can be expected that the work to be done as effectively and efficiently as possible. This research was conducted at Health Department Office of Jember Regency considering that this is one of the agencies of government organizations that provide services to the public. The research used the work discipline as the independent variable and performance as the dependent variable. Data analysis technique used was quantitative data analysis using chi-square (²). The research results showed that there was a significant effect of work discipline on the performance of employees at Health Department Office of Jember Regency.en_US
