dc.description.abstractGrammar, as one of the language components, is important in learning English. In general, the students of Junior High School still find difficulties in applying grammar in sentences. Teaching English by using songs can be used as one of the techniques to motivate and help the students learn grammar. This research was intended to know whether or not there was an effect of teaching English using songs on grammar achievement of the first year students of SMP Negeri I Randuagung Lumajang in the 2005/2006 academic year.en_US
