dc.description.abstractThe processing of Crumb Rubber is a processing to optimize the production of rubber so that have a higher selling price. Crepe Mangel is a machine to grinding rubber crumb (crumb rubber) into a rubber sheet. This research aimed to study for determine the needs of electrical energy (power) and the machine capacity of Crepe Mangel during the grinding process. The research was carried out in the PTPN XII Kotta Blater Jember. The data is derived from the measurements in the field. Measurement data were analyzed using calculation formula and analysis of graphs. Based on the results, electrical energy used in crepe mangel during the processing for each treatment with a roll distance of 2, 4, 6 mm of the energy used by 4620, 3920, 2800 watts. Machine capacity for each treatment with a roll distance of 2, 4, 6 mm, respectively generating capacity of 268,66; 480; 473,68 kg / h.en_US
