dc.description.abstractThe objective of research was to describe the types of written and oral error in Bahasa Indonesia comprehensive learning produced by deaf student in SMPLB Bina Wiyata Putra Situbondo, and to describe the comparison between language error produced by deaf students in written and oral listening comprehensive learning. The data collection was conducted by: 1) making an essay for the deaf students, 2) dictating the essay to the deaf students, 3) giving the result both the written and oral essay, and 4) classifying the types of both written and oral essay made by the deaf students. The data was analyzed by using equivalent method with the basic techniquesof elements determinants classification and the continuing techniques in the form of comparison. The result confirmed that the types of written and oral error produced by the deaf students relied on vocal, consonant, and both vocal and consonant letters, while the types of oral error relied on vocal, consonant, and both vocal and consonant letters.en_US
