Abstract: Freshwater fish cultivation are very beneficial for the people of Jember , because this business can absorb a lot of labor to prepare the land for fishing , and taking care of the fish until harvest time The biggest cost in the cultivation of freshwater fish in the fish farmer groups ”TANI MULYO” and ”KARYA TANI” is a fish feed . Farmers feed the fish with the purchase of fish feed mill . They have not been able to make alternative fish feed can replace fish feed purchased from the store . The fish farmer groups need for guidance in the field of alternative fish feed manufacturing technology. The presence of an appropriate technology suitable to be applied to the fish farmer group , then they can produce their own fish feed more efficiently by using raw materials from the surrounding environment . The method used to overcome this problem is training the manufacture of artificial fish feed and fish pellet making machines . The results of the activities of the IbM grant program is a multifunction machine that flour and fish pelletizer with specifications ; 1 ) engine capacity 50 kg/h , gasoline motor with power 5.5 HP, 2 ) the overall dimensions of the tool length 80 cm, width 50 cm and high 95 cm , 3 ) frame is made of steel elbow with a size of 5 cm x 5 cm and thickness of 5 mm , 4 ) the resulting pellets with a diameter of 2.5 mm , 4 mm , and 5.5 mm with a length of 3mm . Farmers groups canmake their own fish feed
