dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the research is to analyze level of labour absorbtion in tourism and to know the contribution of tourism to region income (PAD) in Malang regency from 2008-2013. The data used in this research is secondary data in the form of time series data with the object of research in terms of Tourism Sector in Malang regency and the data obtained from the Department of Tourism, Department of Labour and Department of Income Malang Regency years 2001-2012, The method of data analysis used in this research was elasticity and proporsi. From the analysis of the data Soctor This analysis result has showed that tourism have and effect to the labour absorbtion. That tourism can not absorb labour force, is about 0,65 percents from labour force that having job, or as inelastis category. While, tourism is not contribute to regional income (PAD) in Malang regency, is about 3,39 percents. All over the contribution that given by tourism sector every year since 2008-2013 in degredation.en_US
