dc.description.abstractPractical aspects of lessons aid effective problem-solving activity in Biology, improves skill acquisition of students thus influencing high achievement levels of students. In addition to improve the student's knowledge, the laboratory is expected to make students to like science through scientific experiment. Good management of scientific laboratory must be in accordance faced by the schools. Such as limited budget, make it difficult for the laboratories to develop. Using the survey method through five public schools and five private schools, the research is aimed to see how the scientific laboratories are managed. The result obtaines from the sample of 10 schools was beetwen 63,80% to 92,37%. the percentage gained if based on the predicate of biology laboratory management is quite good. However, if based on empirical observation, it can be said the laboratory management at the 10 schools was not ideal. They have not been able to imply the rule that has been set by the government.en_US
