Abstract: A Simple pendulum is an ideal object consisting of a point mass which is suspended on the inelastic rope. One of the pendulum uses is tomeasure the value of the accelerationdue to gravity of one place. The Rope length was variedbased on the theoretical value of the acceleration results (9.8 m/s 2 ). To minimize the force air priction,the researchwas conducted in closedarea. It was known that the average value of the period is comparableto the root of the rope length. Not all of the measurements with different rope length showed the similar resultseach of length rope has the different level on the error measurement. The rope with a length of 25 cm has the highest error measurement which is 10.63%. The most effective long rope of four long ropes used was75 cm with an error measurement 0.02%.
