Tradisi Perkawinan Usia Dini Kelompok Etnik Madura di Jember (Younger marriage Traditionof Madurese in Jember)

Abstract

The article discuss about the premature marriage of Madurese ethnic in Jember. The Pramature marriage in this research is a gentleman under 25 years old and lady under 20 years old, when they got marriage. Base on this study were founded the gentleman who involved in premature marriage at 18 – 24 years old and ladies at 15 – 19 years old. But the ladies were more then gentleman who involved in premature marriage. There were four factors that caused the continue of premature marriage in Jember: (1) cultural factor; (2) social factor; (3) education of parent factor; and (4) economic factor
