dc.description.abstractThe research was conducted based on chilli pest. Thrips difficult to be controled by insecticide. One of the alternative control and environment safe by using biological control agents entomopathogenic fungi and nematodes. Entomopathogenic nematodes and fungi, was effective to control Thrips and friendly environment insecticide. The prupose of the research was to find entomopathogenic nematodes which be effective againts pest of chilli, Thrips. This experiment was done on Faculty of Agriculture, Jember University from Juni until September 2004. Experiment was arraged complete with Randomized Design. The result of this research indicated that entomopathogenic nematodes, steinernema carpocapsae and fungi, Beauaveria bassiana had the highest pathogenicity to Thrips than insecticide.en_US
