dc.description.abstractThe increase of potential hazards for the consequence of the dangerous machines and manual activities, has increased the number of occupational accidents in Paper Machine Division. The purpose of this study was identify and analyze job hazards, and analyze hazards control, based on the Job Safety Analysis Method at paper industry. This research was a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. In-depth interview were conducted to 4 informants using purposive sampling technique. Data was analyzed by transcript the interview and writing the information of observation, then represented in description. Based on this study, there were 3 jobs which have extreme risk: splicing the broken sheet, cleaning the head box and the drum dryer. According to the informants, the high risk activities in those 3 jobs were splicing sheet into the Press, Dryer, and Calender machine, entry into the head box and drum dryer (which is included to the confined space), and worked in.en_US
