dc.description.abstractThis research was intended to determine whether there was an effect of participative leadership style of village head on effectiveness of employees’ work at Bago Village Office, District of Besuk, Probolinggo Regency using Spearman Rank analysis method as the indicator. This leadership style functions as an input to Village Head, especially Head of Bago Village to improve the effectiveness of the employees’ work. This research applied quantitative method with associative research approach. The research used questionnaire, interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. The samples used were 11 determined using Sugiyono’s formula with saturation sampling technique/census where the whole population was used as samples. Based on 11 samples taken in this research, the value of the calculation result of Spearman Rank correlation was 0.964. This result indicated that the r statistic was higher than r r table reaching 0.523. The result showed that there was a positive effect of participative leadership style of village head on effectiveness of employees’ worken_US
