dc.description.abstract | This paper attempted to explain the reason of Indonesian government to issue Law No. 10 of 2012 on The Children Protection. This paper used documentary study as data collection method and descriptive analysis as data analysis method to analyze Indonesian government decisions on adopting Optional Protocol to The Convention on The Rights of the Child into a positive law of Indonesia with publish Law No. 10 of 2012. Indonesia is one of countries in the world with so many children crime cases, so it needs a clear norm to manage everything that relates to children infraction. The theory of constructivist tries to explain the Indonesia’s choices to issue Law No. 10 as an effort to show the Indonesia commitment in obeying the international order. In Indonesia’s perspective effort to protect child is a good norm to comply, and constructivists have explained that actors need to adopt a good norm to keep their existence. | en_US |
