Abstract

Indonesian cultural values are now starting to be eroded by the influx of Western culture. Government, community, and cultural actors slowly began to leave the traditional culture as an impact of globalization . The conditional implies a very harmful impact to the Indonesian nation . Indonesia began to lose the characteristics and the nation's image in the eyes of the world, one by one began to Indonesian culture recognized by other countries as traditional culture. The era of globalization and computerization is a concrete manifestation of the such developments. This development continues to occur in every aspect of human life. Likewise multimedia applications are increasingly developed to change the way humans to interact with computers through text elements, images, audio and animation as well as visuals in an application. The development of this aplication also occurs to learning methods in education system. During its development, the delivery of information will become more attractive and easier for users to obtain information to use multimedia. One of ways to keep the Indonesian traditional cultures, the developing of multimedia interactive learning to introduce folk songs that exist in Indonesia is needed contains folk songs that have a characteristic of traditional music from each region in Indonesia. This applications is developed using this multimedia in order to be easily used by all people, especially the children.
