dc.description.abstractThis article discusses postcolonial feminist literary criticism in the literary genre of the history of Indonesia. Authors present through literary forms of resistance shown by the female protagonist of the practices of colonialism and patriarchy bondage experienced by indigenous women. Through a postcolonial feminist approach to literary criticism can be found resistance patterns of indigenous women, as do the deconstruction of the practice of arranged marriages, women's involvement in political organizations involved in education for indigenous women, and the use of mass media as a form of social control and political criticism. The presence literary genre of history-themed opposition indigenous women fight against the practices of colonialism and hegemony of patriarchy are able to bring enlightenment and awareness of the importance of gender equality as well as literary works can be positioned as a form of liberation of women is culturally.en_US
